ANIMAL HEALTH FOUNDATION
I donated my services, writing and producing several videos for the Animal Health Foundation. Although recently dissolved, the AHF was an active non-profit for decades, helping educate both horse owners and veterinarians on a particularly devastating disease called laminitis. Through seminars, workshops, website and youtube views, well over a million people have viewed all or portions of the video information. I feel like these projects must have helped many horses – preventing suffering and even saving lives.

KIDS ROCK CANCER
I co-produced an important program, KIDS ROCK CANCER. A 30-minute piece, it highlights the music therapy program (of the same name) at Maryville University in St. Louis. Viewers also meet some very special children who have benefited from this therapy.
Our documentary aired on 130 PBS stations across the country. And if that wasn’t thrilling enough, it started an incredible ripple effect; it inspired the iconic rock group Heart - as well as Tyler Perry – to hold special events and donate proceeds to Maryville University’s Kids Rock Cancer program.

PAPAL VISIT DOCUMENTARY
​
While working at KTVI FOX 2 as a Promotion / Creative Services producer, I was chosen to create the station coverage documentary on the 1999 visit of John Paul II. We interviewed Archbishop Justin Rigali and covered all of the events, from the formal mass to the parade and youth rally. It aired on KTVI and copies were sold to the public.
